Jim Davis, the former FBI Special Agent In Charge in Denver, Executive Director of the Colorado Department of Public Safety (CDPS) and Homeland Security Advisor under Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper, will give the inside story of his remarkable career in law enforcement and his role in domestic counterterrorism and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

About Jim Davis


Davis lead the FBI team responsible for the initial processing

 of Saddam Hussein after his capture in 2003; he and others in the FBI disrupted the 2009 al-Qaeda terrorist plot led by Najibullah Zazi, in Colorado;; and he served almost 2 years in Iraq and Afghanistan during Operations Iraqi Freedom, and Enduring Freedom and the War on Terrorism. Now retired from the FBI, Davis continues his work of  keeping the public safe.  Currently he is principal in Public Safety Ventures, LLC, a Colorado based venture capital firm focused on public safety technology, as well as the founder and CEO of a Denver-based security and risk management-consulting firm, Ascent Risk Solutions, LLC.
