Celebrating International Women’s Day on March 8th,  World Denver is co-sponsoring with Denver Eclectics to bring you Deedee Corradini, President of the International Women’s Forum. Around the world each year on March 8th, over 1000 events are held to celebrate International Women's Day; join WorldDenver and Denver Eclectics this year!

 

Deedee Corradini will speak on the increased success of women around the world.

 

Program Cost:

Non-Members: $10

 

Lunch Cost:

$20 for members and non-members.

 

About Deedee Corradini:

 

Deedee Corradini is President of the International Women's Forum, a global network of women leaders that promotes better leadership for a changing world across careers, cultures, and continents.  Ms. Corradini served as the Mayor of Salt Lake City from 1992 - 2000, the first and only female mayor of Salt Lake City to date.  During her term as Mayor Ms. Corradini was instrumental in winning Salt Lake City's bid to host the 2002 Winter Olympic Games and participated in the ceremonies as a torchbearer during the games themselves in 2002.  Ms. Corradini serves as the President of the Board of Directors of Women's Ski Jumping USA, and was inducted into the Ski Jumping Hall of Fame in 2011.
