Internships

We are not currently accepting applications for our internship program.

WorldDenver offers a professional and skill-enhancing internship experience, while maximizing the bandwidth of our small staff. Please note that all internships are unpaid, but any out-of-pocket expenses interns may incur relating to the internship will be reimbursed.

Internship Positions

Assist WorldDenver staff with coordination for international visitor and exchange programs, including the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), various youth and professional exchange programs, and virtual exchange programs. The intern’s responsibilities may include researching, writing proposals, planning logistics, professional correspondence, and data entry. Interns will have the opportunity to attend meetings with international professionals and youth and assist with maintenance of program webpages and social media posts.

Contribute to the planning and implementation of the World Affairs Challenge, including logistical preparations, research, outreach efforts, curriculum updates, data review and analysis, and special projects. Work may include communication and coordination with teachers, students, and volunteers needed to execute the WAC program.

Assist in carrying out various forms of communication/marketing, event planning, and membership engagement. Work may include advertising to the Denver community through digital, social, and printed marketing materials, assisting in member management duties, and attending community events and committee meetings. The intern may also assist in the planning of major fundraiser events like International Women’s Day.
