In a country replete with some of nature’s most beautiful waters and lands, seven out of ten Papua New Guinean women will face some sort of violence in their lifetime. One local nonprofit is determined to change that statistic and impact a nation. In partnership with WorldDenver, the Colorado-based Papua New Guinea Tribal Foundation presents the screening of “Senisim Pasin” (Change Your Ways) and invites you to be part of a national campaign intended to radically change this statistic by highlighting the VALUE women bring to society.
There will be a Q+A session after the film and an opportunity to hear from two local organizations also making a difference in the lives of women.
