Who We Are
WorldDenver is a nonprofit community organization that promotes a greater understanding of world affairs and cultures throughout the Denver Metro area, creating and implementing unique programs that connect Coloradans with experts, leaders, and ideas from all over the world. The organization's reach is driven locally by approximately 1,000 members and more than 5,000 supporting community members. Our exchange programs bring about 600 international visitors from 120+ countries to Denver annually in collaboration with the U.S. Department of State through the International Visitor Leadership Program. As the World Affairs Council of Denver, WorldDenver also hosts 30-35 community engagement events annually, featuring distinguished experts on current global issues. These events provide a unique opportunity for globally-minded Coloradans to network and hear directly from diplomats, authors, policy experts, and government officials.
